Very nice hotel in bustling part of Gold Coast. Outdoor dining, newer rooms with great views. Nice, not stuffy staff. Lobby very nice. Did not get a chance to dine at Somerset, but heard good things. Conference/banquet room floors a bit tight and had a bit of an older hotel smell, but perhaps because the first 4 floors were part of old Cedar Hotel and rest of building built on top. It's a vibe - sort of that "What happens in Vegas" thing. A bit pricey, but on par for that area. And they just got a Michelin key.
DO NOT STAY HERE!! For saying they are luxury they are a complete farce. The King room deluxe has no dresser, only 3 hangers in the closet and no robe. We had to call down to have those all sent up. Manager also didn’t believe me they got the room service wrong. He wanted to confirm with the kitchen! The AC unit was rattling and after an hour I had to find a piece a paper to stick in the vent to stop it from rattling against the dry wall.
