DRRH is an excellent facility because of the people who work there. I was there for an 11-day stay after having a total knee replacement. My husband has been in two local rehabs over the last year, and neither one measures up to DRRH. From the nurses (Violeta, Stevi, Leanne, Rose, Kam, Alex) to the CNAs/MAs (Carly, Nancy, NaNa, Desiree), the nursing staff actually cares about you, your recovery, and your pain. I was here for 2 weeks and I could not have asked for a better location for what I needed. I was at another facility and Denver Regional is hands down the best of the two. Now I understand why they are in the top 10 percentile in the nation. The care I received here was impeccable, they push you to do things you don’t think you can do but they know you can do them. I just have to shout out to Daisy, Shannon and Brooke. Loved them, if you you need a rehab facility I’d recommend them any day of the week.
Huge shoutout to Marissa from Physical Therapy and Sahara from Occupational Therapy for the incredible work they've done with Jeff! When he first arrived, he needed two-person support just to stand — less than a month later, he is walking over 200 feet with a walker! He is well on his way to walking independently.
