It’s a smaller gym, but has everything you need. My friends workout at larger gyms in NYC and they’re always packed with no machines open. Each time I’ve worked out during non-class hours I’ve only had one or two other people in the gym with me. The staff is friendly and run great classes. If you’re looking for a no frills gym with the essentials for lifting you’ve found your gym!
Unfortunately, the owners of this gym (while great as trainers, and lovely as individual people outside of their business) provide TERRIBLE customer service. They do not answer their emails, or their phone. It is nearly impossible to communicate with them about making any changes to your membership or account once you give them your credit card. I cancelled my membership in November 2023 and have been receivingcharges since then- the most recent happened yesterday (it's March 2024). I explicitly cancelled over email and received confirmation, but the charges keep coming. I've followed up 5 times with no response. I hate writing this. I love Vibez and this part of Bedstuy and have fond memories of my time there. But I've left the country partially due to health issues. Warning: Unauthorized Charges! I subscribed to Vibez Training for a single month, yet have been continuously charged monthly since. My sister experienced the same issue. Immediate resolution and refund are required. Poor management of customer accounts and data. Extremely disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism. Caution advised.
