Absolutely terrible signal compared to competitors and even worse customer service that’s outsourced. When you call customer service, a message prefaces your interaction with an agent by explaining that Viasat has a zero tolerance policy toward clients who act rudely, offensively, or abusively to staff. I wanted to cancel and had to go through two people to do so…. That wasn’t the bad part. The people were decent and there should be more of them because their AI switchboard is the worst. It asked me why I was calling today. I replied I want to cancel my service. It told me that it didn’t understand my request and asked again. This time I simply said “cancel”. On the Viasat Unleashed, unlimited data I consistently experienced very slow speeds (8 Mbps download, 0.5 Mbps upload) much lower than they advertise (68 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload). I use very little data so know it wasn’t being throttled back due to over usage. On top of that, their customer service is terrible. I highly recommend going with Starlink if you can.
