I wanted to cancel and had to go through two people to do so…. That wasn’t the bad part. The people were decent and there should be more of them because their AI switchboard is the worst. It asked me why I was calling today. I replied I want to cancel my service. It told me that it didn’t understand my request and asked again. This time I simply said “cancel”. On the Viasat Unleashed, unlimited data I consistently experienced very slow speeds (8 Mbps download, 0.5 Mbps upload) much lower than they advertise (68 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload). I use very little data so know it wasn’t being throttled back due to over usage. On top of that, their customer service is terrible. I highly recommend going with Starlink if you can.
I would give zero stars if I could!!! As a professional who flys for work every week this past 2 years I have never had a positive experience with the Viasat service. It’s garbage. No idea how these guys are in businesss! I’m also a starlink customer and it works flawlessly
The worst service. The tech that installed our dish smoked cigarettes the entire time and flicked the butts all over. Installed a dish, it didn’t work, moved locations, then figured out the modem was bad from the factory. We have to reset the modem multiple times a day. My wife called and was told by customer service that our dish was installed improperly but we could pay $95 for a service call.
