I recently visited Viaggio Restaurant Chicago and had a wonderful experience enjoying Italian cuisine in a stylish and welcoming setting. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere that makes it a great choice for a date night, family dinner, or evening with friends. Mussels were delicious and packed with flavor. Paired perfectly with the toasted bread to soak up every bit of the sauce.
Lasagna was great , Eggplant Parmesan was good, but special risotto was over priced for what it was, drop price 10 dollars would be more reasonable.
I’m so disappointed that we chose Viaggio for our sixth anniversary dinner. We were so looking forward to celebrating here after hearing rave reviews about this place, but between the service, the quality of the food, and our overall experience, I don’t think I will ever go back. The food wasn’t anything to write home about - I’ve honestly made better pasta from scratch at home.
