Not only is Nello an extremely talented hair artist, he is also a wonderful person. He and Sally are the best!
For Hair That's Worthy of NYC, Paris, and Seattle Too – A friend referred me to Nello, and I still thank her. The stylist I'd worked with for more than 15 years retired, and I wasn't finding anyone who could cut and style with the same precision, experience, and care. That is until I met Nello, who turned out to be even better--and I know what I'm talking about. When I first went to Nello, I was in the midst of a life and a career change. Nello helped me usher in my new era with a fabulous and much needed new style that help... read more
Latest styles from Europe – I have been going to Via Solferino for years, and consistently get a great cut / color. I agree with the other postings, the experience is fun, you are offered a latte' or drink when you walk in, stylists are very knowledgeable and spend a lot of time perfecting your hair. There are lots of fun products and jewelry to browse before you leave. I've always been nervous about extensions looking phony and silly on me, but after reading the other posts, I might be brave and try some next visit!
Friendly, fast, talented – I just moved to Seattle recently and was desperately looking for a hairstylist who could tame my long, thick, frizzy tresses. I walked in to VS one day and was amazed by how well Elaine did my hair. The place is very friendly, fast and professional. I highly recommend Elaine for her skill and pleasant nature.
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors – Salon offers extensions, permanent straightening, manicures and more. Also sells jewelry, and Redken and TIGI hair products.
you need glenn! – i recently decided to get hair extentions for my wedding, i had been refered to glenn by a very picky girlfriend of mine ( so i already knew he'd probobly be the very best in seattle). Setting up times to meet for the consultation and hair appt. was easy. glenn works very fast which is nice, but i personally wouldn't mind spending a few more hours in his company, he's a lot of fun. the rest of the staff is very accomidating and friendlyas well. oh, and my hair... i can barly walk down the street w/out getti... read more
I was interested in getting hair extensions and I found Glenn at Via Solferino through the Great Lengths website. He was professional and very efficient and when it was done my hair looked amazing! I highly recommend Glenn and especially the salon .Everyone there is so nice and the space is really beautiful and modern and they serve a great latte.I will be going back there.
Best kept secret in Seattle – I moved to Seattle a few years ago and was scared to death to find a new hairstylist. Nello at Via Solforino was recommended and I was hooked! I have tried a few other salons from time to time, but none match the service and cut I get here. Staff is friendly and never snooty, the music is fun, and the decor is classy and comfortable. I've never been talked into buying products, but they always have good suggestions if I ask. I usually get compliments on my haircut/ highlights, and the head massa... read more
