We shared numerous dishes. One was better than the other. The sword fish was perfectly cooked. The pasta amatriciana was divine and rich. The drinks fantastic. this was our favorite dinner in the Hudson during our stay.
For starters we all had the mozzarella and it was stellar with the arugula and pea accompaniment. For mains my wife had the Gemelli and raved about it. I had the Orecchiette and it was okay but I tried my wife's Gemelli and was jealous. Son had the spaghetti and said it was very good. The tiramisu was excellent. My notes would be to take the cocktail orders sooner, and to offer bread. The acoustics are a little loud because of the flat ceiling. What a wonderful dining experience! We were fortunate enough to get seats at the bar, and from the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel so welcome. The bartender was incredibly kind and, after I asked a question about the menu, she immediately offered to speak with the chef. I never expected Guy, the chef/owner, to come out himself and spend so much time with me, carefully going over the menu, explaining what adjustments could be made, and helping me choose the perfect meal. What an incredible restaurant. Food is incredible, with a fantastic wine selection. Definitely going back. The pasta is some of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend.
Top birthday dinner and dessert!!! Omg soych fun and great service. The outside seating is the move!!
