If I could give 10 stars, I would. I can’t say enough about what Dr. Clayton Watkins and his staff at VetMed Consultants have done for my 13 1/2 year-old Chihuahua, Monica. In early May, 2025, my local vet referred me to VetMed Consultants to remove bladder stones as their technology would allow the bladder stones to be removed with a less invasive procedure and without having to physically cut her open. I wish I could give this amazing clinic 10 stars. Dr. Tucker and her staff Amberlee literally saved my dog. They actually helped my dog and helped me with a terrible misdiagnosis from another clinic. I will be forever grateful I called and they were so knowledgeable and truly caring!! I have never been to a vet clinic that shows this kind of compassion. From our first call until the follow up week, they have been so kind and in touch. I will recommend VetMed forever.

I took my dog in for an echocardiogram. I have no experience with cardiac issues and I put my full trust in the Doctor that did the echo. First off, they sedated my dog for the procedure. After talking with a cardiologist they don’t recommend sedating dogs with possible heart issues and yet Vetmed did. Potentially putting my dog at risk. It took him two full days to recover from the anesthesia. More upsetting is the doctor who did the echocardiogram is not even a cardiologist. Vetmed was really excellent with communication and taking care of my cat. She was referred there for a bladder scope and they were very friendly over the phone/text before after the procedure.
