I was referred to Bannockburn Animal ER under the impression that they were one of the top hospitals in the area. Sadly, my experience was not only disappointing—it was very distressing. Two days prior, my dog was seen urgently by his primary vet for GI issues. Bloodwork indicated pancreatitis, and we were advised to go to Bannockburn for an ultrasound to confirm.
