As of Monday, October 17, 2022, Veterinary Specialty Center’s new hospital has opened at 2051 Waukegan Road in Bannockburn. All our services are now available at one location, and we have ceased operations in Buffalo Grove. Our new location is just 10 minutes east of the Buffalo Grove location south of Route 22 and two buildings north of Deerfield High School.

My dog had surgery for a torn meniscus and tplo plate removal. The surgeon did a great job. Everyone was caring, compassionate and competent.
Our cat passed 1.5hr into 3 hr car ride home, after they cleared her for discharge, despite sounding as if she was in respiratory distress. We have called to speak to the attending vet and management for 3 days, and we have left multiple messages. We have yet to get a response.
We were absolutely thrilled with the professionalism of the center, from the initial phone call to schedule, through the consultation, surgery, post-surgery follow-up and overall care for our beloved puppy, Bailey!
My dog Bella had ACL surgery and they took very good care of her. Being a bulldog all surgeries are high risk but she came through perfectly. They took very good care of her she came home on pain meds and has been doing well and seems to be getting better each day
I love how they are real life hospital ! For animals amazing work ! Some of it dangerous I bet .. dealing with my dog hasn't been easy I'm sure .. but they make it look easy ... Very greatful for these great people over there . God bless
