We are so thankful for the high quality and specialist services provided at VSS where we have been taking Lexie for the past year. Our local vet had picked up a large liver mass and had referred us to VSS for a specialist oncology opinion after saying there was nothing else they could do. This is a very long and overdue review. My son, Dallas, who is now a 5-year-old Frenchie, is thriving. We first attended VSS from November 2023 until mid-2024. Dallas initially had an eye infection, which led to a detached retina and glaucoma. Unfortunately, both of his eyes had to be removed. I brought my puppy here today who had a weird gagging thing which we were really concerned about. I didn’t have an appointment but the reception staff were so warm and welcoming. My pup was promptly seen by the triage nurse and emergency vet and the treatment options were made clear. Special thank you to Dr Lauren Stack who quickly figured out what was wrong and was able to solve the issue. She was so lovely and caring. In 2020 our beautiful ridgeback-mastiff-staffy X 'Bella' was treated for haemalytic anemia over about 6 months. Unfortunately she didn't make it. Chris Halman carefully explained the treatment, the cost and the possibility that she might not recover. It was a very traumatic experience for the whole family, but I have no doubt that she received excellent care and the professionalism and expertise of VSS staff was exceptional. Thank you all.
Dr Jack Davey is the most caring, professional, expert Vet. Jack always makes time for you and any queries. He connects with his patients. The other members of the team are also excellent. Care given is of the highest standard. I would recommend Dr Jack and VSS to anybody.
