We have been to VRCCO several times, including recently when our dog had severe bloody diarrhea and was vomiting blood. We arrived around 4 a.m. and still waited over an hour before anyone spoke with us, even though there was only a couple in the waiting room. Because of the seriousness of his condition, we left and took him to our regular vet as soon as they opened. Our vet ran bloodwork, hospitalized him during the day, and then referred us to VRCCO for overnight monitoring and IV fluids. Even with the referral and records... read more
Great service here. Kind, clear communication, and efficient while still being thorough.They've helped with our pup (foxtail) and our outdoor cat.
My cat Shirley and I had a great experience. The staff are kind and knowledgable. The thoroughness and alternate plans explained in case the initial one doesn't work were comprehensive and hopeful. Both the doctor and tech we saw were nice, clear, helpful, and willing to answer questions.
We waited 3 1/2 hours for what was a 30 second look in our dogs eye to see if there was a scratch . I have no idea how this place triages is its patients, but it was not a very busy day - maybe four or five other customers. I know that one lady's pet had really serious issue and was in tears but the woman right before us said her dog had constipation. Once they took our dog back she was back in about two minutes with a lot of expensive medications that she may not have needed because they couldn't see anything in her eye. It... read more
