Dr. Chen, Dr. Stewart and their wonderful teams helped give my little cat, Boo, a beautiful and quality life in her final days fighting a very lethal form of cancer called hemangeosarcoma. We did palliative at home chemo for almost a month, and with their help, Boo lived life to the fullest (and on nothing short of her terms!) up until about 30 mins before her body couldn’t go on. Very grateful to VRA, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of specialty pet care.
I just want to thank all the staff who were working last night (3/19/2026) when we brought in our beloved cat, Albert. He was non-responsive by the time we arrived. While they were unable to save our precious boy, they were so kind and gentle with us and with our baby. The staff was amazing and so understanding that this was a shock to us and took their time with us and were patient when it took us time to make decisions. Truely would recommend them.
Dr. Carolyn Chen and Alexis were absolutely wonderful during my dog’s surgery. They were professional, compassionate, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which gave us so much peace of mind. My older dog had to have emergency surgery and VRA took amazing care of her!
Update: Changing from 3 to 1 star due to a recent experience where they missed cancer in a CT scan which resulted in us having to decide to put our beloved foxhound down suddenly after an amputation because he couldn't walk....even on 3 legs. All vets are expensive and this one is no different. I've spent more than 20k at this facility in the last 2-3 years. However, I don't think the quality of care they offer matches their pricing.
