I was referred here by a family friend when the vet ER suspected Idiopathic Trigeminal Neuritis. I was a mess due to my boy not being able to eat or drink on his own, and they were able to squeeze him in for an urgent next day appointment. The staff was so kind and accommodating since my boy gets fear aggressive at vets offices, and treated us no differently than anyone else with plenty of reassurance for both me and him. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Gainsburg. He spent so much time with us and really made sure he understood what was going on with my dog. He walked us through everything in a calm and reassuring way, and it was clear he genuinely cares about the animals he treats and the people who love them. I’d absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a neurologist who actually takes the time and treats your pet like family.
Ten months ago, my dog Kingston underwent surgery for IVDD at Veterinary Neurology & Imaging of the Chesapeake with Dr. Mannix and her team.
