Surprisingly great. This unassuming building has a decent tech setup with in-house lab, xray, sonogram machines for emergencies. Dr. White is lovely and the staff is great, very welcoming and sympathetic.
We took our Golden Retriever into Veterinary Medical Center of Indian River County on what we thought was an emergency. He all of sudden couldn't really walk, and started shaking as if he was in pain and it seemed to get worse all of a sudden. We took him straight in. It was our very first visit. As we entered, the staff was very welcoming and we noticed how clean the facility was. They got us right in. Once Dr. Lapsley came in, he was very calm, nice, listened to us and did a quick exam. My family needed an emergency vet after our German Shepherd went missing while camping, and was found 36 hours later with a significant leg wound. Every staff member we interacted with here were so kind, compassionate and caring. Our dog is usually nervous at the vet, and he was so calm with them here. John was great, and we are so thankful to everyone there who took such good care of Diesel.
Amazing experience at this emergency vet, I would recommend to anyone. Dr Brophy, nurse Maribel and the front desk staff were all phenomenal. They were very attentive and had my pup treated very fast. Thank you all!
