We recently lost our cat "Indi", barely 5 years old, he had been battling pancreatitis for 3 years, this was a difficult time; so hard on us. The office sent us a sympathy card, which was nice, but then 2 months later we received a letter from UC Davis: telling us that Dr. Klintworth and the other Dr.s made a contribution in Indi's name to aid in research for cures for such illnesses. We were so deeply touched by this act, so far above and beyond the call of duty! We are in the best hands.
The most compassionate and accommodating vet I have ever come across. From the flexible drop off program that allows me to go to work and speak with the Dr over the phone to make educated decisions on next steps and treatment options to the calmness my animals feel when I pick them up after being treated to the gracious staff that always bends over backwards to make it work for my busy schedule ~ the VMC is where I will be taking my pets for life. Can't recommend them enough to my friends and family.
Great all the way around! The doctors are amazing the front end staff is professional and courteous. I always get check up calls. All my fur family walks in the doors with tails wagging! There is never the nervous vet feeling. All at a reasonable price.
We wouldn't be able to to take care of the rescues that we do without them. Kind, Compassionate, and reasonable. They take the time to discuss treatment options, the costs, and possible outcomes. They truly are the best.
Great place to take your pets for care. both for dogs and cats. Staff is nice, too. I've been taking my pets there for 15 years.
I have had nothing but positive experiences at VMC and would not trust the well being of my pets with anyone else. From vaccinations to major orthopedic surgery, we have had it done here. One of our working border collies had to have a TTA, Dr Hollstien did the surgery and he was back to working our cattle after his recovery. How many vets have you known to be able to say that?! Bottom line, this is the place to go for top of the line care.
I have never experienced anything negative with any aspect of VMC, whether it's with the office staff or the veterinary staff. I have used VMC for years with multiple dogs and cats, for vaccinations, dentals, surgeries and when needing the compassion for when we must say good bye to our fur children. I have received professional veterinary care in the clinic, as well as when I needed home visits.
