William was my first contact with VHI. He was friendly, professional and efficient. Dr. Pelosi was patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. My experience with William and Dr. Pelosi made a stressful situation much easier to handle.
Everyone from Dr. Pelosi to Erika the vet tech to anyone else i spoke to on the phone are very professional, friendly and cared for my dog just as much as I do. My sweet dog Harley had heart surgery and Dr. Pelosi and her staff kept me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. Pelosi and the Veterinary Heart Institute. Picture of our sweet Harley 2 - 3 months post surgery. No one would ever know she had heart surgery. Grateful to know that Harley will have a long life. :)
Beautiful place, and all the staff are so caring. Erika is fantastic and Dr. Pelosi called us at 830 at night to review results for our Penny. Thank you so much! Worth the 11 hour drive!
We rescue Dobermans and because of that we have had several dogs with dilated cardiomyopathy in recent years. We took our 7.5 year old, Heidi, to the Veterinary Heart Institute when she was diagnosed in September and again yesterday. Our experience with VHI both times has been exceptional. In addition to Dr. Pelosi, the staff, Erica and William, were wonderful from quickly fitting us in to be evaluated, carefully explaining details and procedures, and their follow through.
