We rescue Dobermans and because of that we have had several dogs with dilated cardiomyopathy in recent years. We took our 7.5 year old, Heidi, to the Veterinary Heart Institute when she was diagnosed in September and again yesterday. Our experience with VHI both times has been exceptional.
