I unfortunately had to put my pet down but you guys were amazing and so compassionate. I truly appreciate how we were treated. The staff is truly concerned about your pet and finding a correct answer. The ladies at the desk were very helpful. Dr. Tim was very understanding and explained things clearly. Explaining the situation, what the plan should be to determine the problem, and also giving options.
The staff was very attentive and took my dogs needs seriously. We were referred from another vet to give our dog the proper care needed. During this stressful time the veterinarian and nurses communicated well and kept us up to date with everything going on. They sent pictures throughout the day to show the love and care our dog received. They saved my dogs life and I couldn't thank the entire staff enough for all they did. I wish they has no stars to choose. I arrived at this place at 3:50pm for my dog that is 2yrs old not feeling well for about a week. My personal Vet suggested I take my dog to this place because they have more equipment than my Vet. Upon arrival I gave the front desk the details about the situation and referral from Vet. I sat in the waiting area for 4 1/2 hrs (yes I am aware, there are life and death situations that happen any moment and other circumstances come 1st) while they deemed her in the yellow (guessing serious). We had to say goodbye to our beloved family dog and everyone at VHA was nothing but kind and graceful and lovely to us, giving us peace during this very hard moment. Dr. Egan was wonderful, explaining everything patiently and going through all our options in the most gentle, concise manner.
