Would not recommend this place. I was referred to this hospital due to needing emergency care. They told me $3500 off the bat just to see my cat and treatment. Then, wanted to hold him for another 24 hours which would be another $1000. The facilities are very nice, I can see why when you charge your patients an arm and a leg. They have you too where they know you will pay to treat your pet. Lack of communication on how my pet was doing. Very unprofessional, rude and I sensitive. Just want to get as much money out of you as possible don’t care about your pet or emotions in an emergency.

Makenzie was great with the customer service when we arrived with our vert sick Coco. It did take awhile to be seen by the doctor. But after some explanations and tests we decided to leave her in their care. The next day it was all good news and we had her home by 3pm. They gave as a great plan of care and it seems that human hospitals could learn from them. Thanks for caring for our beloved Coco.

my dog passed away while at VHA, which im not blaming them for, but when i checked out i noticed they charged me 495$ for plasma they never used when questioned about it, they said they had to charge because they took it out of freezer, i asked them to bring me the "bad" plasma since i payed for it, they brought me frozen plasma, after going back and forth they offered me a $100 refund, and they kept the frozen plasma.
