Dr La Croix and her team are the absolute best. Our Maddie was a patient already but had to be seen for an unexpected visit. I was a mess. They were amazing. They truly understand that your pet is your baby. Everyone is so knowledgeable, kind and caring, even though I was there well after closing. I was pretty impressed when they gave my dog medicine mixed with vanilla ice cream. I was floored when I found out that someone had just gone to Carvel to get it. I knew my dog was in the right hands.
Friday September 12th 2025 we brought our beloved dog Marley to see Dr Van der Woerdt for an eye issue. He's 13 years old. The staff was very accommodating in making sure he didn't have too much interaction with other pets, Fortunately no one else was there. We were greeted by Gerard the vet tech. He was great. Made friends right away with Marley. Was able to do all the testing needed. Explained everything he was doing with Marley. Gerard was very gentle, polite and professional. Dr. LaCroix and her team truly go above and beyond. She is so knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything with care and detail, which really puts me at ease. The office staff are always kind and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care. Dr. LaCroix makes you feel comfortable and supported when making the best choices for your pet’s health, and I’m so grateful to have her looking after all our pets.
2 stars for great expertise, though if that wasn’t the case it would have been 1 star. Not only did we wait extra 40 minutes after our scheduled appointment to be seen, but the doctor was all passive aggressive because we complained about waiting for 40 minutes. My dogs been whining and crying. I get that there are emergencies that happen, but if that’s the case, you have back up to have your patients seen or you can at least give a call and let them know. I can’t rave enough about this place. The warmth, caring and devotion Dr LaCroix and staff is not only exceptional but goes well beyond. The entire experience of going to them for care of a hurt animal is without doubt outstanding. Not only do they care for your pet, the attention shown to owners is equally appreciated. I’ve never been so comfortable in a vets office. Ruby and I thank you for all you do. No 1 in my book.
