My experience at VEG ER for Pets in Pikesville was nothing short of exceptional, and a huge part of that was thanks to Simmy and Dr. Hicks. When we arrived, we were stressed and worried, but Simmy met us at the door and immediately put us at ease. I cannot speak highly enough of VEG pikesville. My cat got sick while I was away and was admitted into their care for a few days. They updated me several times a day and did not seem at all annoyed when I called for additional updates. As an anxious pet mom, I could not have been more pleased and reassured with the level of care they provided to him and also the energy and effort they put in to assure me he was being well taken care of. Highly recommend! They provided excellent service to me and my pet, were extremely gentle and careful as she was in pain and took time to get a complete history, give me a full understanding of my options for her care, and made sure I understood the risks and follow up care needed. Everyone was so kind and friendly and made a stressful emergency much more manageable!
I want to extend my most heartfelt thanks to Simone and Dr. Becker. During the worst night of my life, they offered my soul cat timely care for her emergency that ended up taking her life. They were compassionate, explained things clearly, and were so kind and understanding to us the entire time we were there. My girl was in good hands and I am so thankful for the kindness you showed us yesterday.
