They cared about my pets. The whole team, especially Dr. Mello, was very kind, professional, patient, calm and empathetic. We’ve been to the Newton emergency vet twice, two years apart but both times at midnight coincidentally. I called ahead to confirm they can take a look at my hamster in critical condition and they helped me immediately when I got there. Staff was beyond compasionate and accomadating to my furbaby. Superb service and highest standard of care. Very attentive to his needs considering his heart condition and was very informative throughout the proces with no suprises. Price was very reasonable for the care provided today and very quick.
I will never go there again! My cat wasn’t eating on Sunday. I brought her in due to her history of pancreatitis. They drew urine and said they had to send it out for a complete urinalysis. There were no other symptoms except she didn’t wanna eat. They went on the assumption that she had a UTI and put her on an antibiotic. Which the next day caused diarrhea and with the pancreatitis it was very concerning. I took her into my regular vet, who asked if I got the results from the urinalysis I said no which I hadn’t.
