We brought in a stray we’d been feeding after noticing a wound, not realizing how serious it was. She had a high fever and an abscess that needed urgent care. The team was wonderful — they sedated her, cleaned the wound thoroughly, and treated her with so much compassion. I felt completely at ease, able to ask all my questions, and by the end of the night we even decided to adopt her. We’re so grateful for the kindness and professionalism of everyone here.
We had such a great experience with VEG! They gave us great advice, kept us informed and updated, and they kept our sweet Zuko comfortable while he was in hospital. Our doctors (Zuko had two—Dr. Madill and Dr. Toews) texted us every morning and night while Zuko was there to tell us about his condition, any new test results, etc. And we were also able to visit Zuko at any time we wanted and stay with him for as long as we wanted.
