My dog ate a tennis ball while playing at a dog park. When I got to him, it was too late; and he already swallowed most of it. My Vet helped me to induce vomit, but not much came out. He advised me to go to the nearest VEG. Dr. Anna Taylor at the Falls Church, VA location was the one to take charge. She administered more vomit inducement. Seeing that not enough came out, she administered the delicate procedure to take out the tennis ball piece by piece from my dog's stomach. Bit by bit, she was able to get them all. Veterinary Emergency Group Review On a harrowing day, my 15-year-old dog Charlie, who is incredibly gentle and never bites, suffered a traumatic eye injury. I had used this vet before but when I had to take my cat in in the early hours of the morning recently I discovered it had changed hands, I believe it was Dr Callahan on duty. There were two other people waiting to be seen we had been ushered into the rear area. I was shocked by the chaos going on, 3 high school boys running around administering drugs and shots to animals in cages leaving medications, used bandaging etc on the floor, the vet sat at a computer ignoring the waiting patients.
