I want to start by saying that I could not be more pleased with how my dog Minnie and myself were treated in todays visit, as someone who was distraught by the possibly of my dog having heart disease I was already a mess. The team here helped me though the drop off process and the vet tech explained the procedures and how Minnie would be kept safe and comfortable, which she was! I can’t thank the staff at Veterinary Cardiopulmonary Care Center enough! The whole staff truly cares and it shows! Jessica the receptionist was great and went out of her way to help get my baby Buddy in for an appt as soon as possible. Dr. Rupp and Abby the nurse were excellent and extremely thorough in their explanations with what’s going on with my baby’s condition. I contacted this clinic regarding an evaluation for my dog, who may have DCM. I was informed that the initial appointment costs $900 and that my dog would need to stay for approximately four hours. When I mentioned that I already had X-rays, I was cut off mid-sentence. The process seemed highly scripted, with no option for owners to be present during the assessment. I wanted to express gratitude to the entire team at Veterinary Cardiopulmonary Care Center including Dr. Rupp and her staff. Since Rocky was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Disease, Dr. Rupp and her team have went above and beyond for my little guy. They are compassionate, thorough, caring, and utmost professional.
