I'm incredibly grateful for my experience speaking with Mark over the last few years. My mental health has always fluctuated, but he helped shift my mindset about life in ways i never thought possible. He provided me with valuable CBT techniques, PTSD resources, and coping strategies that i still use daily. As an Adult child of a Veteran Chaplain, i feel truly fortunate that Open Arms referred me to him, and will always be appreciative of his guidance, support, and life lessons he has taught me.
It's not easy for me to put this into words, but the simple reality is that about 6 years ago my then GP could see I was more than struggling with severe depression. She referred me to Mark Pavlich, a counsellor who worked out of the clinic and specialised in Veteran issues, believing he could help me.
