I went to the ER for a sharp pain shooting down my lower back to my lower leg. The doctor was very dismissive, didn’t even ask me about my pain, started talking about weight loss and suggested I speak to my primary care provider about starting a GLP-1, didn’t do any labs. The nurse gave me a shot of toradol and sent me home with Motrin and lidocaine patches. Do better VA!!
