This is a clinic for Veterans only.
I called their VA nurse advice line. They couldn't give advice because they said all of their pharmacists are furloughed. There's no pharmacists? Seriously? I understand its not their fault that the new government fired them, but what does that even mean for getting medical care here? My VA care was pretty good before, except for the understaffing and appointments taking months to get. So how bad is the understaffing now?
This place will make an appointment for you and then cancel them over and over. Very unprofessional, especially for being a government run entity.
My boyfriend had a doctor’s appointment that required him to get bloodwork done beforehand. We initially were going to Fayetteville for this but were told he could get it done at this location. We opted for this location because it was only a 30 minute drive compared to the 50 minute drive to Fayetteville. Before he got his bloodwork done he informed the nurse that he passes out when his blood gets drawn but he’s totally fine once he lays down and puts his feet up.
