Do NOT take your pets to Vetco in Cerritos I had an awful experience bringing in my 2 cats for their free exam. The staff was extremely rude and had a bad attitude from the start. They told me they wouldn’t even see my cats unless I paid $90 for rabies shots, even though I only wanted the free exam as advertised. On top of that, they refused to see them unless they were in carriers and gave me 10 minutes to either buy one in the store for $40 or buy one of theirs for $45. Amazing service. We got everything we needed for our girl who had an ear infection and skins allergies.
We have a little 7 year old dog (Mochi) who gets anxious and agitated when strangers touch her—especially at the groomers/vet. We took Mochi in for her annual exam & mentioned how her nails have grown really long, causing a couple to break off. However, it’s really difficult for us to cut them ourselves at home. The doctor suggested making an appt to sedate her for the nail trimming & dental work. The worst service in the world. The people who serve here are bitter. They don't even want to look at your pet and only focus on getting paid. They don't give you recommendations for your first visit or your pet's first time at the vet. They have an overly bitter attitude, as if they didn't like the job they have.
