BLACKMAIL & HIDDEN Charges !! Scheduled my puppy for "New Puppy" vaccinations with Vetco. It's a two shot series. First appointment was smooth and they scheduled the second for 30 days later. On arrival, the Vet refused service unless we pay an additional $35 for a 7 month old puppy checkup. I told her I did not have the $35 (due to fixed income). Rude employees that can’t even do their job right! Worst place to take your pets!
Very poor service...the tech was unable to hold our 7.8 pound puppy still for the Vet took three tries to give Rabies shot. Also wrote a prescription for NexGard 4-10 pounds, can only buy this in 3 month supplies from Petco. Puppy gained 3 pounds in 3 weeks and they refuse to change prescription to the next weight without coming to a clinic which is unavailable anywhere near us for 3 more weeks. This would leave a 5 month old puppy untreated for fleas and ticks for 3 weeks.
Totally inept employees. Brought my dog in for shots to Petco in Apple Valley. First, they could not make their schedules time arrival of 9am, arrived 45 minutes late. Very unprofessional to leave a group of dogs together who do not know each other. Second, totally incompetent in keeping records. My dog is a rescue, he has been with vetco since his first shots but they claim they cannot find any records on him even though they send you a card making you aware of what is due.
