Extremely disappointing. The tuna crudo was inedible- stringy and chewy, room temp/warm, and soaking in a bath of oil. They use heavy amounts of oil in a majority of the dishes which is very telling. The pizza was decent but the crust didn’t have the softness on the inside that you hope for. The reviews gave me high hopes but I was honestly shocked by how poor the quality was :(
I thought all the negative Google reviews about the long wait time were exaggerating until we came up on an ENTIRE HOUR after ordering that the food came out. Dishes also come at different times so one person would finish their plate before another person’s came out. Portions were small and nothing blew my mind. It’s average Italian food. I could not have dreamt up a worse dining experience !
Based on the reviews and a friend’s recommendation, I was expecting something very special. Unfortunately, the food was not really to our taste. The pizza was more charred than I personally prefer, and we especially did not enjoy the dough. I also would have enjoyed the bread with olive oil more if it had been served warm. That said, the service was perfectly fine. The restaurant’s atmosphere also was not quite the kind of setting I personally enjoy.
