The food and drinks at this place are insanely delicious and EVERYTHING is gluten-free. Verveine offers an all day menu, breakfasts (until 11am) and a separate lunch menu (from 11pm). Breakfast plattere, sandwiches, soups and pastry snacks. The place gets pretty packed, we waited in line for about 20 minutes but every second was worth it. Hits it out of the park every time. The season apple fritters are especially amazing
I have tried many places world wide on my travels to find gluten free places for my wife and daughter who are gluten intolerant so that when we visit on vacation, they can give it a try. I additionally have been using King Arthur GF or Caputo GF blends to make breads, pizzas, etc at home for them. Recently on a trip to the east coast my wife did some searching and Verveine Cafe & Bakery popped up as someplace close to Harvard they were visiting the Natural History Museum there. The so-called "bibingka" is not authentic at all! Please stop calling it bibingka! It should be spongy with a honeycomb texture on the inside. Whatever you all produced is extremely dense and tastes nothing like authentic bibingka. Bibingka is already naturally gluten free, so I don't know how this was so poorly executed. This is so disrespectful to Filipino culture!
