If only I could leave zero stars for this company- I would. They allow any child to “check themselves out” of care, without a parent/guardian present - no matter their age and are therefore “not responsible for the child anymore.” If they are not going to keep our children safe, I should not be paying $200 a week for summer camp. Parents of children attending schools affiliated with Vertex are being told that Vertex changed their policy which now allows a child (any age) to sign themselves out of LKC/Kids Camp. If your child signs themselves out, they have to leave the property immediately whether or not a parent/guardian are with them. The school staff then immediately calls the parents to inform them of such. I stopped by one day after my mom and I had lunch and said hey let’s pick up the girls since we’re right here. I’ll just go ahead and pick them up early.
