This place saved my life. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The group and 1 on 1 therapy were so helpful. They help you to learn why you use in the first place, getting to the root of the problem, and teach you ways to cope going forward. If you come here wanting to make the most of it, it's a great place. I came looking for a reset and I was hoping for some positive reprogramming for my life, and that's exactly what I got. Pretty early into my stay, I realized that my drug use wasn't the problem.. it was (bad) medicine I was using to treat my psychological wounds from deep trauma, inevitably further spiraling me downward. My wife stayed for 30 days at this facility. The staff seemed helpful and the environment and facility were clean and taken care of for the most part. They seemed to offer little to no follow up plans for when she was discharged. They took her off a strong and addictive medication when she first got there but did nothing to help prepare her for dealing with the post acute withdrawals from that particular substance. The Bluffs was a great facility. I came in broken and after being there for a few days, I finally began to open up about being an addict. I could have asked for a better place to go. The staff was loving, caring, and actually cared about how I was feeling. Overall an amazing place and I would highly recommend to others struggling with the disease of addiction.
I have been sober for 1 year 10 months. Best place with the most caring staff. Brittany was my group leader and she was the most caring and supportive person I’ve ever met during my recovery. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish they reached out more post - residential living.
