You can have the best sailboat but without wind you don’t go any where. But with the worst boat and the best wind, you will go far. Your tools are only as great as you use them. Use them.

After 16 years of abusing alcohol and drugs, GOD truly Blessed me with THE BLUFFS OF OHIO! Its a wonderful, clean, friendly, professional, top shelf facility. They use ALL of the current and recent research on addiction, plenty of PHDs, classes, Therapists, and Psychiatrists to help You really get to the bottom of Your addictions. Wanted to take a moment to give a huge shout out to the Bluffs team! It takes an army to make a life changing experience, they did not disappoint whatsoever. Sobriety, mental health and the daily experience as well as short and long term care are all the reasons why I chose this campus. This place helped me immensely. After years of hiding a drinking problem, I sought help and this is where I went. I have no complaints. The staff were great, from kitchen to front desk, to case managers and therapists, and so on. It was engaging, chill, insightful and helped me to assess my issues. Highly recommend.

There is a disconnect with the intake over the phone to the facility once you're there.Upon entry I was strip search with a male nurse present, I was mortified. A blue pad for bed protection if you wet the bed was placed on the floor not sure why but I think they wanted me to stand over it and urinate in the cup like I was an animal.
