I dealt with this place when my daughter graduated from high school. The first time it was for small box braids for her prom. The second time was for a blowout silk press ponytail for graduation. From the beginning, the energy was giving me a very Brooklyn vibe, like 'what am I walking into?' But I gave it a chance, and I didn't have any problems at the time. Came in for braids for an upcoming concert and left feeling like a sassy goddess. Being new to having braids done on my caucasian hair with fun colors, Miss Nay knew exactly what I was going for. She took the time to puff my braids up so that the colors I chose would be the star of the show. So happy to have found a place that does bomb work at a very reasonable price. I got my hair done by Taliyah (IG: looks_by_liyah.) She did an amazing job and I walked out feeling like a new person. She took her time, made sure I was comfortable, kept asking was I okay or needed breaks, made sure she wasn’t too rough on my hair (I’m not tender headed so nothing hurt while she was doing it) The manager Kim came in to check on the staff & clients before she had her own clients come in.
