While the paver patio they completed is beautiful, I cannot rate them higher due to the low focus on customer service. We originally agreed to a contract price and when the work was completed, he billed an additional $8,000. We were not informed or advised of this. Avoid Versatile Landscaping LLC at all costs. We had an extremely upsetting experience with Don and his crew. The work was subpar: bushes were unevenly pruned, delicate lilac and viburnum buds were damaged due to improper seasonal timing, and the mulch was so thin in places it barely covered the soil. He charged us over $500 for mulch—more than 100 bags—far more than our beds could even hold. He also billed us for “edging” where there was nothing to edge (our beds are surrounded by stone). Thank you so much to Versatile Landscaping! They did a phenomenal job installing our retaining walls for our flower bed and extending our driveway. The owner Don was very professional and communicated on any delays due to the weather and even went out of his way to add on an additional feature for an unexpected delay. We will definitely be using them again and referring to our neighbors, family and friends.

We got our yard mulched and bushes pruned by this company whose owner is named Don. He cut the buds off my lilac bushes and didn’t even weed them! I had to get into the middle of the bushes and do back-breaking work that they should have done to get the weeds. Our viburnum bush had all its beautiful white flowers cut off as well. Lastly, our burning bush shrubs were pruned to sticks. Next, they laid the mulch, and it looks horrendous already. It’s already going from black to grey!
