I’ve only lived in Verrado for about two and a half years, and even in that short time, the decline has been hard to ignore. When I first moved in, the community felt well‑maintained and inviting. Now, the landscaping has noticeably deteriorated—parks that once looked green and cared for are patchy, dry, and far from what they used to be. We moved here in 2020. We instantly fell in love with the tree line streets. It truly was a green oasis. BUT not anymore! Everything is dead. The developers and HOA are running the community into the ground.
We love Verrado and want to see it thrive, but mismanagement has allowed the landscaping to die, which affects the beauty and property values of the entire neighborhood. The developer and HOA have refused to implement a plan to correct this issue. The leaders are all talk and NO action. It’s sad because we planned to stay here long term and even planned on upgrading our home in Verrado or Victory down the road but unless things change we wouldn’t consider buying another home here.
