Absolutely ridiculous. I have insurance and they wanted payment upfront refused to file insurance first and I would be “credited” for the work they had done (I didn’t have work done because I told them I’d have to reschedule due to not being aware of this rule) so now I’m being charged for just sitting in the waiting room basically. Definitely would not recommend.
