They don't know what to take seriously. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is looking for a high quality nursing home. The staff act friendly but are not responsible or respectful. The staff is very chatty and often very loud and not mindful of the patients privacy. One of the workers on FL1 constantly bickers anda disrespects my father during his visit to see his mom. The food is terrible there are roaches everywhere there's a constant smell of death and disease the dirty linens are left in the hallways also the hallways stink of urine and feces this by far is the worst facility I've been in this place is worse then Shattuck

The biggest asset of Vero on the parkway is the staff. The CNA's and Nurses were kind, professional and outstanding. The food was not to my taste. I asked to work with female CNA's and my preferene was respected. The director and assistant director deserve a lot of credit. Ihope the CNA and Nurses are rewarded for their high standard of care. The activities staff created great activites that added pleasant and fun group times to the rehab experience.

I do not know how this place is functioning. The building is crawling with this permeating infectious aroma that smells the minute you walk into the door. My family members personal items have come up missing. I mean how does a facility lose someone’s dentures!? There were even a few bugs crawling on the floor. There was not even soap in the bathroom.
