I went into this shop today and met with a man named Chris. I was instantly impressed with his friendly disposition and professionalism. As we went over the coins I brought in, his knowledge & expertise about the history & value made the choice to go to him the perfect fit for what I brought in. He took his time rather than rushing me along and I felt good with the amount he offered. This guy has to be the rudest dealer I've come across in a vintage brick and mortar store. For me, when people are that rude they can't be trusted. Go to Daytona Coins in Port Orange, a 13 minute drive north to Nova Rd and at least you will be treated like a person. The only value this guys sees is in what you bring in.
Vern is an awesome guy! I purchased a Mickey Mantle Autographed baseball from him and he assured me it was authentic but the paperwork was processing with JSA. I live in NC and trusted that he would mail me the paperwork when it came in and he did! I’m here in Daytona again and I will be going to visit my new friend today. Vern is honest, trustworthy, and a treasure trove of knowledge and experience.
