Very rude. Called upset about bill and wanting it paid but it wasn’t even due yet for that month. We have paid every prior month on time since we’ve used them. Electric is always cutting out and service fees are ridiculous.
Terrible service. Expensive. Definitely taking advantage of people's need for electricity. Never had an electric company require a deposit and then make up any reason to not credit the deposit back to the account.
They shut off my mother in laws electric and she's been keeping my kids while we get on our feet. And they don't give a crap that she's got two children 2 and under living with her. What are we suppose to do??! Freeze this winter!?!! What electric company can do that bs when it's starting to get cold out???? My kids are gonna get sick and there's no where else they can go. Ridiculous and heartless company they deserve to go bankrupt.
An excellent utility co-op. Very few power outages or dips even though we are near the end of their service area. Excellent office, service and maintenance personnel. Offer a variety of pricing options such as dual fuel and EV charging rates. They maintain their system much better than some other utility companies. VEC is solar friendly with both their own and to customer installations. I'm glad to be a member of the co-op.
