An excellent utility co-op. Very few power outages or dips even though we are near the end of their service area. Excellent office, service and maintenance personnel. Offer a variety of pricing options such as dual fuel and EV charging rates. They maintain their system much better than some other utility companies. VEC is solar friendly with both their own and to customer installations. I'm glad to be a member of the co-op.

The app to download and pay the bill is absolutely worthless!
Cut down a tree in my yard and disposed of it on my property because "it was too close to the electrical box". I called to figure out why nobody would knock on my door to see if I could replant the tree in a different location. Very disrespectful and rude on the phone when I called to ask about this. I walked to my neighbors homes and they all had shrubs, grass, and trees in the same distance from the electrical box that I had.
