I cannot begin to describe the intensely awful experience I had with this unempathetic and uncaring doctor. Who instead of giving me any help- sat and belittled me on why I shouldn't have children because I had diagnosed depression. Dr. Thornton is absolutely amazing!! She listens, she problem solves and includes you the entire way, she goes above and beyond!!! Something I've never had a doctor do. I suffered from a disorder called PMDD for a decade because no doctor would listen or take me seriously. Dr. Thornton is AMAZING! I have been her patient since she came to Cloquet. She makes you feel immediately at ease with her friendly and energetic personality and is impressive with her knowledge. She doesn't rush through your appointment but takes time to explain her diagnosis and treatment plan, answering any questions. I strongly recommend her!
Dr Thornton is not only highly professional but is the biggest advocate for rural women’s health in Northern MN. She is also specialized in gyn and I am so incredibly grateful I have switched over to Community Memorial.
