I am an alumnus of the VYO(A). I went to Summer Camp at Lyndon State College and Lyndon Institute before I became an actual member (viola '75-'79). My birthday always fell during camp-lucky me!! My father, Peter Brown, was the conductor for quite awhile. My mother, Melissa, was the original conductor of the String Training Orchestra which later morphed into [I am not sure exactly what] My sister, Anna, played bass for a few years as well.
