I started seeing Dr. Anemone Fresh shortly after my cancer diagnosis - she was recommended by my team at UVM- and she worked with me and the treatment I was pursing with UVM. She helped me cut through the noise of what you're "supposed" and focus on what will best support my body and worth with the treatment I was receiving. She was and continues to be an integral part of my team.
I would give minus 100 stars if I could. I’ve an aggressive rare high mortality liver cancer, and saw one of their NDs while I was NED in 2022, hoping to get help with an anti- inflammatory regimen. I was told several times that it was great ( my paraphrase) that my insurance covered them completely, shamed if I asked a question not on the “list” I was expected to hand in days before an appointment and given absolutely no useful advice. I have been seeing Dr. Amy Littlefield for integrative oncology for the last five years. She is truly amazing and has added tremendous value to my overall care and is extremely knowledgable about cancer care. She continues to suggest small scale interventions that have had a big, positive impact on my health, and all things that my traditional providers have never bothered to suggest to me or think about.
