Love my current worker, having said that, I am currently trying to fill out the dozen forms needed to update information and it's basically torture. On the cover letter there are about a dozen to do items to check off. 11 of the pages require some sort of writing and/or signatures. The names and numbers of the forms on the cover letter do not match up with the actual forms. Recently I haven't heard back from Lindsay or Dan however over the past two years Lindsay has been absolutely amazing. She's always answered my calls, my questions, sent me paperwork and been extremely supportive. Dan in the past has also been awesome. Giving me advice, support and doing his best to keep communication lines open. I can't even begin to say how important this is and why it's needed but I can say how much of a difference this makes in people's lives and how valued this is. Unfortunately, VSHA suffers from poor leadership that lacks integrity. They destroy landlord relationships with zero accountability, issuing vouchers to tenants that are irresponsible “frequent flyers” of the system. Landlords in Vermont have responded by jacking up prices just out of the reach of payment standards. The lack of accountability in issuing vouchers to those who blow out of multiple apartments is astounding.
