Lady on the phone refused to tell me her name. Vermont electric is ripping people off!
Probably the worst light company I've ever experienced. I could turn my breaker off and still have a 200 light bill. I live in a less than 1200 sqft house and my light bill is always astronomical 300-400 some months. I'd give it no stars but unfortunately that's not an option.
ABSOLUTE MONEY CROOKS. Literally power your home with a generator or any other means if you live in an area where they are the only providers. Nothing but hidden fees price hikes and gimmicks from this power company!
Expect extended outages. Expect frequent outages. Seriously reconsider moving anywhere that is only serviced by Vermont Electric. It’s life changing how drastic the difference is compared to Green Mountain Power. The service Vermont Electric provides should be free and matter of fact, they should pay you to use them. 48-72 hour outages multiple times a year. Very inconsistent coverage.
