Sold my house and paid my bill like a normal person would. 4 months later I get a notification that I have a bill in Collections when I closed my account. NO CALL NO LETTERS. worse is when I called to confront them they informed me that my number was no longer in service. I CALLED THEM ON THE PHONE THEY SAID WAS OFF. Scam artists what a joke of a company!!!!

VEC is a great company with great customer service and awesome incentives! The Smart Hub is so easy and informative to use! I like that I can see my daily usage and if there is an outage we know immediately!
Decided to "schedule" a utility pole replacement when its 20 degrees out. Funny, we didn't get any actual notice other than the power shutting off. It's an old house that runs on forced hot air, so of course we froze. I'm sure it was totally necessary for them to do this in winter, and I'm sure they totally tried real hard to notify us too.
