I had an informative visit with Dennis. He helped me understand about the history of my coins. He had a "wealth" of knowledge (pun intended) about the years that coins were made and why certain ones are more valuable. It was so educational. I felt that they paid very fair prices. They also have some nice looking antiques for sale as well, included paintings and all sizes of items. Such nice folks here.
Yikes! Just got quoted. Seems they pay about 1/2 the melt value for your coins. I get they need to make a profit but no WAY would I be desperate enough to take THAT big of a hit!
I would highly recommend going to VT coin and jewelry with your valuable items. They are very informational and highly qualified to appraise your items correctly. They have a very professional staff. I was very satisfied with their pricing during the appraisal of my goods.
