We're Vermillion River Rafting, and we've been a rafting company here in Oglesby, IL, since 1996. Family-owned and operated, we are the only white river rafting tour in Illinois, and we offer white water kayaking, beginner, intermediate and advanced rafting, fun summer activities, and much more. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Utica, LaSalle, Peru, Morris, and surrounding areas. We had a blast rafting as two adults and one 8 year old. Making reservations is difficult due to the river water levels being so dependent on weather so we called the morning we intended to go. Water was 4.5’ deep per Ruth, the owner. She was sweet and also served as the transportation to drop off our car at the end of the rafting route. Trip itself is absolutely amazing! Beautiful views! I showed up with my family this past weekend for a great day, and it was! Got back to the launch where the locals live and run their beautiful property, my gas tank was full in my vehicle when I arrived to the launch. A fellow yaker had a dash cam that caught one of the property owners close relation siphoning 65.00 worth of gas out of my vehicle when I arrived back at the launch at 6pm at night with my 11 year old niece my car was bone dry gas tank light on E.
