I called Thursday and made reservations for my fiancés birthday Saturday at 1:00 to go white water rafting. We got here a little early at 12:30 and there's no one here so l called and they just told me no one came to work today so they're sorry but they can't do anything about it. We drove over an hour. No phone call, nothing. Just tough luck. Vermillion River Rafting is a joke and a shitty excuse for a business. I will NEVER be back.
Rafting with this company was not a great experience, honestly. Although the team were responsive and on-time, there are some basic safety measures lacking with Vermillion River Rafting. I'd pick a different place to go rafting if I had known earlier. Pros: - Responsive team. - On-time. Cons: - No proper signage mentioning high-current zone/start/stop or at least flags. - No professional rafter accompanying the boats even though knowing the Vermillion river can get unpredictably dangerous. - The boats do not have ropes on bo... read more
