I can't even give a star but this site requites at lease 1! How do a doctor turn down a patient because of elderly age? He even told the referring doctor he refuse to see the patient due to the age. His staff lied and said they would never turn down a patient but Dr. Verma did!! And the Nurse told me herself they refuse to see the patient. Very disappointing experience. I was charged $158 just to walk into the office and have a very brief conversation, only to be told that I would need to pay $2,050 to have a colonoscopy done. This was shocking and completely unreasonable. What made the experience worse was that despite clearly explaining my symptoms and discomfort, the doctor did not prescribe any medication or offer any meaningful treatment or guidance. I had a virtual appointment scheduled with Dr. Verma today to go over my recent stool test results. Prior to the appointment, I had already emailed Dr. Verma with questions about my labs and requested additional testing. He responded promptly and confirmed he would be ordering those tests, so I let the staff know I no longer needed to speak with him again today since the matter had already been addressed and he advised that he would request additional testing. Dr. Verma has a wonderful way of making you feel better about your health issue. He probably saved me from overtreatment of a condition and explained issues clearly to me. Faith is also wonderful! GI issues are tough, and it is reassuring to have a patient and kind care team.
