To transfer your phone service to Verizon they check and scan your drivers license which I thought was pretty unnecessary, but I did not say anything. Then they asked for my social security number. That is when I walked out the store. You are serving their needs and they say taking your social security number is to protect you. I was so hoping for home internet. I was willing to pay the cost, but giving social security number to a phone company that is just wrong.
Last year had a wonderful experience at this location. This was even during their renovation and limited space. However I was sadly disappointed that after 14 years of being a loyal Verizon customer I walked out due to poor services. Jason greeted us promptly and offered his assistance. At first the meeting was going well. I was needing to upgrade a phone and Jason was very adamant about me getting a 4th line. I didn't want one and asked him to quit asking me about the 4th line.
