Today I went to a Verizon corporate store about the issue. In less than five minutes the tech had diagnosed my issue and had opened up a claim for me. I'm going to get a replacement phone because I have the extended protection plan. It is going to be here tomorrow, less than 24 hours of making the claim. Cannot get a hold of a person in the store by phone. Horrible customer service
I went to simply get help switching info from old phone to new phone. Customer service was so great they talked me into a new iPad while I was there lol
